How to enrol

Thank you for choosing to study at Global Village Sydney (Universal English College). We look forward to welcoming you to our school!

To study in Australia you will need to apply for a visa and there are 3 possible options – a Student Visa, a Tourist Visa and a Working Holiday Visa. For further information, please visit the DIAC website

To enrol with us, you can send your application directly to our school and follow the 5 easy steps below.

Step 1

You will need to complete our Enrolment Form. There are two ways you can do this:

Enrol Online  or

Download and complete a PDF version of the GV Sydney (UEC) Enrolment form and fax it to us on 61 2 9283-1760 or email it to us at enquiries@uec.edu.au.

Step 2 

We will issue you a letter of offer. This normally occurs the next business day after our receipt of your application.

Step 3

When you receive our letter of offer, please send us the full fees in Australian dollars including all optional service fees. Payment may be made by Bank Transfer, Bank Draft, Bank Cheque or Credit card.

Students are responsible for paying all bank charges.

Step 4

If you are planning to study on a Student Visa, we will also issue you with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) when payment is received.

Step 5

Apply for your visa from the Australian Embassy or Consulate. If you are applying for a Student Visa, you must take your CoE with you to the Australian Embassy or Consulate.

Homestay and airport pickup services

If you wish to use our Homestay service, you will need to apply at least 4 weeks before your arrival in Australia, to allow us adequate time to find you the most suitable family.
 
Please provide us with the following flight information 3 weeks before you arrive in Australia:

  • Flight number
  • Date of arrival
  • Time of arrival

We will aim to confirm your homestay details (and Airport Pickup if requested) 2 weeks before you arrive in Australia provided your fees have been received.
